Brum Artsfest this year is to be honest, a bit crap. Very samey, no provision for photographers and the like (apart from a select few who have "assimilated" all the duties for that and not left it open, or at least seemingy open).

No innovative stuff, lack of interesting music and a dearth of politically correct stores has made for more of a snooze fest than an Arts Fest.



So, here is a memory of happier days and much less pretentious stuff.

Here's hoping they get their act together next year (on both the performance and photo opps side)

...having done worky stuff. Spotted the "Gherkin", "Millenium Dome" and saw a bit of Greenwich from the train before heading to Kent. Home now. It's been a long day.

But can we see a return to the retro styles of the 50's/60's/70's. There were some real gems in there. Hell, give me Barbarella over Twilight or the like anyday!
