Two years.

It's two years to the day since my mum passed away.  I've written about it here and here.

I don't think I have anymore to add on the subject, so today will be spent with quiet reflection, maybe a book or a movie.

Current mood.  Lifelong friends are missed - Pete C (if alive today - 45 years of friendship).  Dave H (if alive today - 30 years of friendship).  Life is a struggle - some of us make it, others don't.  I'm disappointed the good people don't seem to succeed or continue to breathe but that's it, the house always wins.

Too hot to sleep....

It was way to hot overnight and have been awake for an hour or so which is *criminal* on a national holiday/bank holiday.

The sun is coming up and even the cats look like they're melting.
