NYC is so diverse! Eating disorders aside, this guy looks like he's in need of a slap up nosh!
It's meant to be a heatwave today, off to Coney later on.

Daily Photo #181
I popped down to Union Sq on Wednesday night and watched the sermon from Rev Billy in regards to the Save Union Square Campaign.
They were certainly pretty passionate!
In other news, I am so tempted to head to this tomorrow, I have never been to a US convention of any sort (I haven't been to a con in over 15 years!)

Daily Photo #180
Went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and met the fellow below:
He wasn't too talkative so I went and had a look at an exhibition of super hero costumes. No pics allowed (bah!) but some of the original costumes for Dark Knight, Spider-Man, X-Men and even an original MkII Iron Man suit from the movie were on display! The Thierry Mugler Robot Girl was there along with one of the original Catwoman/Pfeiffer costumes from Batman Returns. Fantastic! Museum staff were most hostile, more lke store detectives that people who are passionate about art.
The Dali's were also fantastic - all that art in a large space to wander around although the gardens were closed due to yesterday's rain (weather today is meant to be the hottest ever, uh oh). I have some images to upload from a peaceful demonstration to upload later.
I'm not sure but the heat brings out the craziness of the city. Seen a couple of things that certainly opened my eyes on the subway. One of them involved someone brandishing a handgun in my general direction but I guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
More adventures ahead today but hopefully that won't involve semi automatic pistols.
