Daily Photo #441

Well, we finally had the new bathroom suite fitted yesterday, still need some more new tiles and flooring. It's not as posh as the Marriott in Manchester but much nicer than the one we had.

In other unrelated bathroom news, we finished the complete three series of Survivors (1975) which was much more satisfying than the ersatz PC 2008 redux. Although, I think it needed more zombies.

Daily Photo #440

Stuck for inspiration today due to feeling frazzled (had a random bad reaction to the anti depressant meds and a really strange night in all). Finally managed to function on a slightly higher level than I was a few hours ago so I have chosen a calm and idyllic photo.

Sky, countryside and fresh air all beckon at some point. I am so fed up with sitting at home, not being able to get outside.

It's not something from a Ridley Scott movie.

It's actually a passion fruit. One of my favourite kinds of fruit, just behind grapes and a few steps in front of a kiwi.

Found halfway up a hill in Lancashire.

When I took this, there were wild horses wandering about and looking at us strangely. I guess we were invading their territory.

Daily Photo #436

A while ago I blogged the contents of my kitchen cupboard.

Fridge!

Here is what can usually be found in the fridge. This post was inspired by Charlie Brooker's musings on food. Well, at least I don't have 1000 squirrels in the fridge to be cooked alive in a cauldron of oil (yet).

God, I'm hungry now.

I also need to get out of the house.

Daily Photo #435

Some more colour for this cold and slightly overcast day in February.

I am looking at a macro lens for my EOS 5D right now. I used to do a lot of close up macro work with my 350D so I am long overdue for a new gift to myself. I have my eye on a nice little Sigma lens.
