Comics, Sticklebacks and talented people!

Many thanks to Matt Booker (AKA D'Israeli) for linking to my pics in his Blog entry. He and Ian Edginton are rather talented chaps and if you have a love for comics, please check out their outstanding works :)

I've already blogged my photo for the day but there are more images here if you follow this link...

Daily Photo #266

Good day has been had, involved comic books, a trip into town, a breakfast sandwich, a mango frappe frozen drink thing and a visit from Esther and Paul tonight.

I remember this from a Halloween gone by, god bless our weird and crazy get togethers.

It makes me think I should hold some kind of Halloween gathering this year. Linda's catsuit collection means we could talk a couple of female friends into some kind of Halloween photoshoot and blog the whole thing live. Anyone interested I wonder?? ;)

I am such a comic book geek. Seriously. How could I resist taking some shots of the highly talented dynamic duo (couldn't resist that pun!) of D'Israeli and Birmingham's own Ian Edginton?

Two superb stand up guys. Talented does not begin to describe them as they are living the dream. In fact, they go beyond the realms of "which one would win in a fight - Batman or Superman?" and they came across as both genuine and generous sharing tales of how they got into the industry and giving some great advice to those wanting to jump aboard.

Good conversation was had about the industry, photography and the sneakiness of colourists (you had to be there, trust me it was quite hilarious!)

Anyway, off for a picnic in Sutton Park or somewhere now. Laters!

More Big Picture memories

Podnosh is quite the video mechanic! (and thanks for the link from the YouTube page, mate!)

Truly quite a touching moment for the winner.

*Edit - if you see the video, please rate or favourite as it well earn this project and the West Midlands recognition it most deserves*
