Just been opening presents and prepping turkey. Still feeling rough but must make the effort! I thought the colours and look in this was seasonal. Hopefully Linds has a special pressie for me later ;)

Daily Photo #730
Flu diary - day 4.
The goblins in the bedside cabinet are now quiet. I guess they must have read this journal entry. Body temperature now normal, dizzy spells at a minimum and aches/pain are at a minimum. It appears I am somewhat better but feel very washed out. Cough has now become productive (I will keep details to myself) and the whole thing has turned into a nasty head cold.
Still, extra rest is not a bad thing and I have sleep to catch up with having had very little at night for the past few days (at least continuous sleep which doesn't involve sitting upright in bed wide awake, slathered in sweat and thinking that someone is taking a bone saw to my skull). So, me =1. Swine Flu = 0.
As you might tell my old more verbose self is back. The typewriter is most appropriate.

When will the goblins in my bedside cabinet stop trying to perform Celine Dion medleys at 3am? I don't have much against Ms Dion but it's a bit inappropriate, lads.
Temperature down to 100 now which is good. Body still feels like it has been beaten with a cricket bat ("you've got red on you!")
Anyhoo, back to sleep and may eat something later. zzzzz

Daily Photo #728
Currently battling H1N1 (I refuse to call it "Swine Flu"). So, after almost passing out in the supermarket yesterday I came home and slept fpr 16 hours straight.
Anyhoo, next few days will consist of nice upbeat photos.
Posting this from my Eee Netbook which Linda kindly dug out for me. I'm heading back to sleep now as my temperature is still 102.
