In a bid to get my brain functioning normally (as if it ever did!), I'm doing a little cooking today.
I don't tend to follow recipes slavishly as I prefer to go with the balance of flavours and adapt as I see fit. Today, it's spicy roasted butternut squash soup (infused with other seasonal vegetables and coconut milk). Getting myself to follow the logical progression of the process has been difficult but the result is shaping up to be rather good.
