Finally got round to doing some work on the living room/lounge.



New flooring and a lovely little surprise in the form of a fireplace we never knew existed due to it being covered up by a horrid old gasfire when we moved in almost 14 years ago.

Bonus! After removing the fire we now have a place to put candles and it adds a real focus to the room.

Been sleeping pretty badly this week. With some bad news yesterday regarding the passing of a relative on Linda's side of the family and feeling a little run down I took a half day leave and caught up on some shut eye.



Just woken up but not very wide awake. So, gonna let the cats back in hopefully I won't be receiving the "cat laser ray stare" from Buffy. As she does in this shot.
