You know, the only present I've ever gotten from America is from lady at work I've only know since November. She bought me a superbly tacky Statue of Liberty figure, as per my request - as seen here. Not asking for anything, just saying, is all... ;)
I have a small toy Godzilla somewhere - a promo from the Emmerich version, which Bri gave me - which I might have to find and bring in, so I can pose it clambering over the statue. Maybe I should get a Cloverfield monster and set it up to look like it's chewing the head off. Photo ops abound!
Yikes, current exchange rate that's £72-ish! Completely going against the grain of my LJ comment about collectibles, I do keep thinking about ordering one of these. At 6" tall, it might be around the right scale for the Statue of Liberty.
You mention NY and all your mates start hanging around begging for stuff... Um... Since my conversion to all things Art Deco, any chance of one of those souvenirs of the Chrysler Building? In return I could maybe do something by way of trade as we're going to Venice later in the year. Some creepy Venetian mask maybe?

As in a model of the chrysler building? I shall do my best :)
If the mask is to be creepy, something skull based would rock my world :)
