(Not so) Guilty Pleasures: The Walking Dead - S9 Episode 15

Heartbroken and feeling emotionally destroyed after watching the most recent episode.  Three of my favourite characters are now gone.

I am really loving how the producers are handling the show right now

(I adore how Michonne's sword sounds like something from this movie).

I am hoping that Michonne goes full on Ogami and Daigorō with Judith in tow until they finally kill Alpha and Beta in a stream of violence that could only spring from the mind of Frank Miller or the best #manga.  I would be so bloody excited if there was this kind of scene (in conversation with a friend who knows people who might be connected to people and, there is a blizzard a coming - my thoughts or at least a wish list scene.  Not naming names as I value my friend's privacy).

This is not a scripted scene more of a wish list - although, they (my source, I love saying that!) do state that Carol might have another "go look at the flowers" moment which, could...well, I will leave it at that.

I envision Michonne, back to back fighting with Negan in a snow covered field, the camera would be hovering above them as both them decimate whisperers with precision, no energy wasted

The main colours on the screen would be white (snow) and red (blood). We would hear the sounds of #lucille and *that* sword as Whisperers are dispatched without mercy, left and right.

This isn't anger, it's rage - and efficiency. No strike is wasted. Every parry and hit from the two protagonists is focused and pure. Negan is the Ying to Michonne's Yang. Perfect balance.

As limbs are removed, Michonne and Negan are caught in a moment of rest, their eyes lock, we see their breath in the cold air, they go back to back again, creating a defensive pose as another round of Whisperers take their turn to face our heroes.

This isn't an abattoir, it's surgical euthanasia

Watch the episode before reading this article.
