Daily Photo #445

I found this in the Hockley area of Birmingham.

I think the pathos in this image really comes across. Eventually, all our efforts are consumed or lost in the sands of time. Perhaps it's not what we do but the manner in which we go about achieving it?

That really appeals to me. It's not surprising that photographers like wandering around graveyards and cemetaries...

I love photographing and recording these places. I'd really like to visit the Parisian catacombs and your set from Highgate has certainly inspired me to track down more locations in London!

Well, you know how fond Ann was of that angel you photographed in Yardley Cemetary.

I do indeed Steve, you have one of the three darkroom printed copies in existence.

Hi, Trav!

My blogspot is about madness of doing Papers and Thesis... :X
But is in portuguese.

Last week I wrote about a flickr girl who had stollen my fotos to expose and explointing then in a ridiculous way. I was very sad about that. I was thinking turn off my flickr account. Because I had just write to yahoo (talking about the girl´s abuse) and got no answers about it.
Now, I´m waiting to have a Pro account actived, maybe I would have more attention from flickr administration, but no anwers again...

Sorry about my english! And sorry about the subject!
My best regards to you and Linda.

*P.s.: I love your shots, they are so about Romanticism!

Hi San!

Thanks for the kind words :) I'm glad you enjoy the shots.

As to your flickr problems, at the bottom of the image should be a "report this image" tab for copyright. Go to the person's webpage who is doing this and activate the "copyright abuse" section. This should speed things up.

Good luck on the thesis and your English is great!! :D
