In a similar theme to yesterday's shot, it's another Linda portrait.
But, in all fairness I am being inspired in today's choice due to the latest Joe R. Lansdale novel, Vanilla Ride.
I have to admit, I was hooked after reading the first page and I'm now over 100 pages in. It's the sign of a good read when you just don't want this one to finish. Also, chicks with guns are the hotness. Mr Lansdale certainly has a wonderful way of describing his ladies and this one doesn't skimp a bit. God bless the characters of Hap and Leonard. I just wish Joe would write one of these every year as they just get better and better.
On a side note, is it just me or would anyone else like to see Joe take up the late Charles Willeford's Hoke Moseley character? Lansdale and Willeford have this unique and laconic voice which would mesh perfectly to create new situations and stories for this much loved character.
